Production Operator / Machine Operator (With forklift ticket)
- Operate production machinery and inspect manufactured materials to meet commercial quality standards.
- Move and store materials safely, report faults, and maintain a clean, safe production area.
- Work rotating shifts and contribute to hazard identification and continuous improvement.
The Role
FHR currently have multiple opportunities for a machine operator or production operator to join our client located in Coopers Plains. We have immediate starts available for the candidates who're successful in their application for these positions.
Benefits:
- Enjoy a competitive hourly wage of between $42 to $50 per hour (overtime rates paid on top)
- Full training provided. Training takes a total of 6-8 weeks before moving onto the 12 hour rotating shifts in the new year. You must be willing to train on any of the following shifts: AM (6am to 2pm), PM (2pm to 10pm) or night shift 10pm to 6am).
- Fixed rotating roster - 2 x 12 hour day shift, 2 x 12 hour night shift

Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery to manufacture materials to commercial quality standards, conducting regular quality inspections as required.
- Identify, report, and assist in resolving equipment or product faults to maintain smooth production flow.
- Safely unload, move, and store materials and finished products within the warehouse or production area.
- Actively participate in hazard identification and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing safety and product quality.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and complete additional tasks as directed to support overall site operations.
Skills & Experience
- LF ticket compulsory
- Experience as a factory hand, machine operator or production operator
- Experience working with building materials (Gyprock, insulation, plasterboard etc)
- Physically fit or experience working in a physically demanding role
