About our Opportunity
We're looking for a motivated and organised Production Planning Coordinator to join our team at Ormeau on a maternity leave contract through to August 2027, with the potential for the role to become permanent.

Working closely with experienced team members, you'll help coordinate production activities, maintain schedules, and ensure customer orders are delivered on time.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Assist with creating and maintaining daily and weekly production schedules
- Monitor production progress and help adjust plans as priorities change
- Work closely with Production, Warehouse, Supply Chain and Customer Service teams
- Update production information and work orders within SAP and other systems
- Help ensure materials and resources are available to meet production requirements
- Track delivery commitments and communicate any scheduling impacts
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operation
About You
You don't need extensive scheduling experience to be successful in this role. We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, highly organised, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
You'll ideally bring:
- Previous experience in administration, production, manufacturing, planning, logistics, customer service or a similar coordination role
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confidence working with numbers and data
- Intermediate Excel and computer skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of teams
- Experience using SAP or other business systems is advantageous but not essential
