Job Description:
As a General Factory Hand at Quatro Design, you will be a vital part of our production team. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of factory tasks, including, production mixing, assembly, packing, and quality control, operation of a counterbalance forklift, to ensure smooth and safe production processes. We have both casual and full-time opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with general factory duties such as assembly, packing, and quality control to meet production standards.
- Must be physically fit to complete product batching and mixing procedures
- Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in line with company policies.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment, including the forklift, to ensure operational safety.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals and address any issues.
Requirements:
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence, desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience in a factory or warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Capability to lift and handle heavy items when needed.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing priorities.
