We have partnered with a leading industrial services and construction business in Sydney to hire their next most integral player. Seeking a motivated Project Manager to join our growing team long term. This client is known for their exceptional quality of workmanship, hands-on approach and commitment to delivering outstanding project outcomes.

In this role, you will take ownership of projects from commencement through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will work closely with clients, trades, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure projects run smoothly and successfully.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills who enjoys managing people, coordinating stakeholders, and delivering outstanding industrial projects. We're looking for someone who is commercially minded but still enjoys being hands-on and understands what it takes to deliver a project from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from planning and commencement through to successful completion
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources and key deliverables
• Coordinate internal teams, trades, subcontractors and suppliers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
• Monitor project progress, quality, costs and timelines
• Identify and resolve project issues proactively
• Ensure all projects are delivered in accordance with WHS, quality and company standards
• Provide regular project updates and reporting to the General Manager
• Support and lead site teams to achieve successful project outcomes
• Maintain a hands-on approach and be willing to get on the tools and support the team when required.

About You

You are a hands-on Project Manager with a trade background and a strong understanding of industrial projects. You may have come through the electrical or mechanical trades and progressed into project management, giving you the practical knowledge and leadership skills to successfully manage projects and people.

You are confident dealing with clients, subcontractors and trades, take ownership of your work and thrive in an environment where no two days are the same. Most importantly, you're someone who is happy to roll up your sleeves and get involved when the team needs you.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience working in a Project Management capacity
• Trade background, ideally electrical or mechanical
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to manage projects from commencement through to completion
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities, budgets and deadlines
• A practical, hands-on approach to project delivery
• Full Australian working rights
• Current driver's licence.
