Your new role
Working as a Claims Consultant, you will manage a portfolio of property-related claims while partnering with solicitors, building consultants, surveyors and other industry professionals to investigate and resolve disputes.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of complex property-related claims
- Reviewing documentation, contracts and supporting evidence
- Liaising with solicitors, conveyancers, customers and external stakeholders
- Working alongside building consultants and technical experts to assess claims
- Managing high-touch claims through to resolution
- Handling difficult conversations and delivering exceptional customer outcomes
- Supporting broader business functions including underwriting, finance and operations
This is a role where you'll gain exposure to the full insurance lifecycle rather than working in a siloed function.
What you'll need to succeed
- Law degree, Conveyancing qualification, Property Law background or similar
- Early career legal professionals are encouraged to apply
- Property law and claims exposure highly regarded
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical capability
- Claims experience advantageous but not essential
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
