    As a Registered Nurse - Oncology, your responsibilities will include:

    • Provide evidenced based nursing care including a comprehensive assessment of patients receiving chemotherapy/immunotherapy as well as other infusions for conditions such as Crohn’s and MS.
    • Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
    • Ensure patient and staff safety
    • Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs

    About You

    • Current Registration with AHPRA
    • Working with Children check
    • Ideally 3 years of nursing experience with some understanding of oncology and haematology nursing care.
    • Ideally experience administering cytotoxic chemotherapy and/or related cancer treatments
    • Competency in PICC, PORT, IV Cannulation and phlebotomy skills or working towards
    • ADAC qualification, CVAD management experience and high level computer literacy
    • Commitment to Quality Patient Care
    • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
    • Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Works well independently and within a team
    • Basic computer skills
