Programmed are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Welder/Boilermaker to join a well-established automotive parts manufacturer based in Kilsyth.

Key Responsibilities

Metal Components & Structures Steel plates, pipes, and beams (used in boilers, tanks, and structural frameworks)

Pre-fabricated metal sections for welding and assembly

Pressure vessels and storage tanks

Welding and Cutting equipment

Measuring tools (calipers, levels, tape measures)Fasteners & Fittings

Bolts, nuts, and washers (for securing structural components)

Flanges and valves (for piping systems in boilers and tanks)

Not ideally suited to someone suffering from asthma or respiratory conditions

Essential:

Cert 3 Engineering - Fabrication Trade - Must be qualified boilermaker for this role

Must have MIG (mild steel) experience

Forklift license required

Able to read, understand and follow technical drawings

Experience working independently and managing workload effectively

Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with other teams

Strong problem-solving skills, creative thinking.

Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other team members.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Must be reliable and available to commit to Monday - Friday.

Strong attention to detail.

Punctual and reliable.
