Our Role
We are currently recruiting for a full-time permanent Quarry Operator for our Attunga Limestone Plant, located 15 minutes’ drive north of Tamworth. Reporting to the Mine Superintendent you will be involved in a wide range of activities around the extraction and production of quality lime
This position will require you to:
- Operate fixed plant such as crushing and screening.
- Operate mobile plant for the purposes of Load and haul, mobile crushing and rehabilitation.
- Complete basic maintenance and housekeeping.
- Collect samples for quality assurance.
- Conduct manual handling and housekeeping activities
The successful candidate will:
- be a flexible team player who likes to self-sufficiently deliver high performance, enjoys teamwork and has a willingness to learn and positively apply their skills.
- have experience operating front end loaders, dump trucks, excavators, crushers, mills, forklifts, water carts, preferably in mining/quarrying roles.
- be computer literate.
- be flexible to work early mornings, days, evenings and weekends as required.
- agree to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test.
You must have the right to live and work in Australia to be considered for this role.
