Recycling Attendant - Warwick

This role is based at the Warwick, Queensland facility site. Casual hours (Including weekend work with penalty rates).

As a Recycling Attendant, you’ll be the first point of contact for community members arriving to responsibly dispose of household waste and recyclables. Your role is essential in keeping the site running smoothly, ensuring materials are sorted, handled, and processed correctly and safely.

This is a role for someone who’s not afraid of physical work, enjoys being outdoors, and takes pride in doing a job well. You’ll be working onsite at the Warwick waste facility, wearing PPE including steel?cap boots, and contributing to a team that values safety, respect, and professionalism. A forklift licence is a strong advantage, but not a requirement.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Following Endeavour’s Work Health & Safety procedures, including correct PPE use
  • Multiple sites working at various locations of southern downs region waste sites including Stanthorpe, Warwick, Allora and others
  • Lifting and moving heavy items (15kg+) with confidence
  • Providing solid customer service—greeting the public and helping them unload their waste
  • Handling repetitive physical tasks, bending, sorting, and stacking materials safely
  • Ensuring recyclable and waste items are processed correctly and efficiently

What You Bring

  • Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and occasional short?notice shifts
  • Strong attention to detail when sorting and stacking items
  • Clear communication, great customer service, and dependable time management
  • The ability to work independently while showing respect and teamwork
  • Willingness to obtain a Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Check
