About the Role

As a Registered Midwife, you will provide safe, evidence-based and woman-centred care across a variety of maternity settings.

You will support women and families throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve positive clinical outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing safe and evidence-based midwifery care
• Supporting women throughout labour and birth
• Conducting maternal and fetal assessments and monitoring
• Delivering postnatal care and newborn support
• Providing breastfeeding education and guidance
• Responding confidently to maternity emergencies
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and care planning
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Skills & Experience To be considered, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
• Minimum 18 months recent midwifery experience
• Recent experience in Birth Suite, Delivery Suite, Antenatal and/or Postnatal settings
• Strong clinical assessment and maternity care skills
• Excellent communication and patient-centred care skills
• Current National Police Check
• Full Australian working rights
