Our Early Phase Unit in Joondalup conducts first-in-human and early-phase clinical trials, giving nurses the opportunity to use their clinical skills in a very different environment while contributing to the development of future treatments.

 
Find a shift pattern that works for you

Our Joondalup unit operates across three shifts:
AM: 7:00am – 3:00pm
PM: 12:00pm – 8:00pm
Night: 8:00pm – 7:00am

 
We're currently interested in hearing from:

- Registered Nurses with AM and PM availability
- Registered Nurses with PM and Night availability
- Registered Nurses interested in Night shifts

We are open to discussing full-time and part-time arrangements for the right candidates.

Why nursing at Linear is different

As a Research Nurse, you'll work alongside doctors, laboratory teams and clinical trial professionals caring for healthy volunteers and patients participating in early-phase clinical trials.
You don't need previous research experience. We're looking for Registered Nurses with strong clinical skills, good judgement and an interest in learning something new - we'll provide the training and support to develop your clinical research expertise.

This role involves:
- Conducting participant assessments and clinical procedures
- Administering investigational medicines and treatments
- Monitoring participant safety and wellbeing
- Collecting and documenting clinical data
- Supporting the delivery of Phase I and early-phase clinical trials
- Working closely with our medical, laboratory and project teams

What you will bring to the role

Previous clinical research experience is welcome, but not essential. We are seeking Registered Nurses who:
- Hold current AHPRA registration
- Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Thrive in a collaborative team environment
- Are keen to learn and develop within clinical research
