THE ROLE

As a Registered Nurse at BaptistCare Amberlea Community, you’ll provide safe, high-quality, person-centred clinical care while leading and supporting the care team around you. This is a role with real clinical responsibility and real human connection.

  • Deliver safe, high-quality clinical care that keeps residents’ health, wellbeing, and dignity at the centre
  • Lead and support care staff, ensuring practice is within scope and standards are upheld
  • Maintain clear, respectful communication with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Ensure safe and compliant medication management
  • Contribute actively to continuous improvement and clinical governance
  • Maintain your own professional development and currency within your scope of practice

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will have solid clinical foundations, a person-centred approach and the confidence to provide clinical leadership.

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience working as a Registered Nurse is required (minimum Grade 2, Year 2).
  • Must be available and flexible to work AM, PM and night shifts, Monday to Sunday.
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no conditions or undertakings)
  • Experience in aged care or with elderly people
  • Confident clinical leadership — you’re comfortable guiding a care team and holding the standard
  • Strong communicator — clear, respectful, and consistent with residents, families, and staff
  • Comfortable with basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Proof of working rights in Australia
