Our client is a major player in the Iron Ore, Gold, and Lithium industries. Due to an increase in their workload they are currently seeking experienced

• Rig Geologists - Reverse Circulation (RC)
• Rig Geologists - Diamond drilling

to join their team across the Pilbara region.

This position is on an Iron Ore Mine and will see you responsible for: 

• Supervise drilling and ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Log drill chips/core, including geology, alteration and mineralisation.
• Manage sampling, QA/QC and sample integrity.
• Monitor recovery and identify drilling or geological issues.
• Maintain accurate geological and drilling records.
• Liaise with Mine Manager on progress and work closely with drill crews.

  To be successful in this position, you require: 

• Bachelor of Science (Applied Technology) or equivalent
• Experience with RC and/or Diamond drilling.
• Strong logging, sampling and QA/QC skills.
• Safety-focused with strong attention to detail.
• Candidates with Iron Ore experience, and experience in the Pilbara will have strong advantage.
• Unrestricted working rights and the ability to pass a medical
• Be available for FIFO From Perth

 
On Offer

• Day Rate of $700 - $900 per day depending in experience
• 8 & 6 Roster
• The opportunity to work for a leading Mine Site Owner / Operator
