Connect People is seeking experienced Road Maintenance Workers with Truck Licence (MR or higher) to join our client's team based at their Rydalmere depot.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with road maintenance or road construction experience who are looking for consistent work. You’ll be part of a team delivering planned and reactive maintenance works across Sydney’s road network.
What's on offer:
• Monday - Friday roster
• Based at Rydalmere depot
• Temp to perm opportunity
• Dayshift rate $41.46 p/h + super
• Nightshift rate $51.41 p/h + super
What you'll be doing:
• Carrying out planned and reactive road maintenance works
• Vegetation control and roadside maintenance
• Graffiti removal
• Pothole repairs and asphalt maintenance
• Road sign installation and repairs
• Minor concreting works
• General civil labouring and hands-on maintenance tasks
• Working safely around live traffic environments
• Operating vehicles, tools and equipment as required
What you need:
• MR Licence or higher (essential)
• Previous experience in road construction, road maintenance or civil infrastructure
• Experience working safely around live traffic environments
• Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physically fit and willing to perform hands-on labouring duties
• Reliable, safety-focused and able to work as part of a team
