Skillinvest is seeking an experienced Road Worker for a position with one of Victoria’s leading providers in road maintenance, construction and civil works. Based in Warracknabeal, you’ll be part of a supportive and dynamic crew, working outdoors and operating a range of tools and machinery to help maintain our road networks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- General Manual Labour
- Compacting, leveling, and spreading of materials
- Routine road maintenance and emergency response
- Truck driving and obstruction removal
- Use of power tools and machinery
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Construction Induction White Card
- Medium Rigid (MR) Truck Licence
- Traffic Management Certificates (TC1/2& TMI1/2 at minimum)
- Demonstrated experience in road or civil works
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Available for after-hours emergency call-outs
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Plant Operator Certificate
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Chainsaw and Polesaw Training
Successful candidates will be required to undertake pre-employment checks including a Medical Assessment, Drug and Alcohol Screening, Police Check and Driver History Check.
