We are currently seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to join a well-established and growing construction business in Brisbane.
This is a hands-on leadership role supporting project teams across a range of commercial construction projects, ensuring high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance are maintained across site operations.
The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and subcontractors, providing practical safety advice and helping to drive a positive safety culture across projects.
About the Role
- Provide day-to-day HSE support across active construction projects - Brisbane, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast
- Conduct site inspections, audits, toolbox talks and safety meetings
- Assist with SWMS, risk assessments, incident investigations and reporting
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, company policies and project requirements
- Work closely with site and project teams to identify and manage safety risks
- Promote a proactive and positive safety culture
About You
- Previous experience as a Safety Advisor within the construction industry
- Relevant WHS qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and construction safety requirements
- Confident communicating with site teams, subcontractors and management
- Practical, approachable and proactive in your approach to safety
- Ability to work across multiple projects as required
