What You Will Be Doing
You will be responsible for supporting site safety performance, compliance, training delivery, and workforce development across surface operations and mill processing areas.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Facilitating risk assessments and hazard identification activities
- Delivering and coordinating safety training programs across site operations
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining Safety and Health Management Systems (SHMS)
- Supporting safety compliance, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Promoting a positive safety culture across processing and surface operations teams
- Maintaining accurate safety records, reporting systems, and training documentation
- Utilising SharePoint, Skytrust, and other systems for safety management and compliance activities
- Working closely with operational teams to identify and prioritise training and safety requirements
What You Will Need
- Minimum 5 years' experience in metalliferous mining
- Experience facilitating risk assessments and safety workshops
- Proven capability developing and maintaining Safety and Health Management Systems (SHMS)
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office application's, and experience using SharePoint & Skytrust software Highly Regarded
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent training qualification
- Strong safety leadership and coaching capability
- High attention to detail and commitment to compliance
