Build something bigger with us.
Instant Products Group designs and manufactures transportable offices, portable toilets and showers, and sea container buildings for customers across mining, construction, government and infrastructure sectors throughout Australia.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Sales Executive to help develop new opportunities, build strong customer relationships and deliver solutions that make a real difference for our customers.
What does a Sales Executive do?
As a Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for identifying opportunities, building relationships and delivering transportable building solutions that solve real customer challenges.
You'll actively seek out new business opportunities by researching prospective customers, developing target client lists and keeping up to date with industry trends, market conditions and competitor activity.
A key part of the role involves meeting with existing and prospective customers across industries such as mining, construction, government and infrastructure. You'll take the time to understand their operational requirements, recommend suitable solutions and demonstrate how our products and services can meet their needs.
As Instant Products Group continues to grow its transportable building operations you'll be working with a combination of inbound enquiries and self generated opportunities, managing a steady flow of phone and email enquiries while actively developing new business relationships and projects.
From the first enquiry through to project completion, you'll prepare quotations and proposals, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, secure contracts and ensure all opportunities are accurately maintained within our CRM.
Working closely with our manufacturing and operations teams, you'll ensure all customer and project requirements are clearly communicated and coordinate the delivery, installation and associated services that form part of each project, ensuring customers receive a seamless experience from start to finish.
You'll maintain regular contact with customers after the sale, ensuring they are satisfied with the outcome, identifying future opportunities and assisting with the resolution of any issues that arise.
The role also requires you to monitor customer requirements, industry developments and competitor activity, while providing regular reporting on sales performance, pipeline activity and market opportunities.
This is a hands on role for someone who enjoys being in front of customers, creating opportunities and delivering outcomes.
What do we need from you?
We're looking for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships and winning work.
You'll be organised, confident and professional, with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in understanding customer needs. Previous sales experience is essential, and experience in construction, manufacturing, transportable buildings or related industries will be highly regarded.
You'll be comfortable managing multiple opportunities at different stages, maintaining accurate CRM records and following through on commitments. Most importantly, you'll be someone who takes ownership, follows up and consistently looks for opportunities to grow the business.
We hire for attitude as much as experience, so we're looking for someone who is driven, dependable and a good fit for our team culture. If you're someone who enjoys working in a fast moving environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.
