SAP Project Manager
Contract to 31/12/2026 with possible extension | Brisbane | Hybrid Working
We are partnering with a statutory Queensland Government agency to recruit an experienced SAP Project Manager. Reporting to the project Subject Matter Expert Business Advisor, you will lead and manage the delivery of a critical SAP S/4HANA project. This project is a key component of the broader Finance Modernisation Program led by Queensland Shared Services (QSS), which is transitioning 21 Queensland Government agencies over to a modern, integrated financial management platform.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful business transition to the new finance system, ensuring strict adherence to the established project timeline and alignment with strategic agency objectives.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and manage the implementation of the S/4HANA project, ensuring all key deliverables are achieved on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Oversee the successful business readiness and technical transition of the client to the new QSS-hosted SAP S/4HANA platform.
- Manage complex relationships across the business business lines, QSS program leadership, and external vendor delivery partners.
- Maintain established project timelines, manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID), and provide clear status reporting to the project SME Business Advisor and program boards.
