East Coast Apprenticeships is seeking motivated school students to commence a School-Based Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Apprenticeship. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain real workplace experience, earn while you learn, and work towards a nationally recognised qualification while completing your secondary education.
Working alongside qualified tradespeople, you will gain practical experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems across residential and commercial projects.
What You'll Learn
- Installation of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Routine servicing and maintenance
- Fault finding and repairs
- Reading technical drawings and plans
- Safe use of tools and equipment
- Refrigerant handling and environmental procedures
- Workplace health and safety practices
- Teamwork and communication skills required in the trade
About You
- Currently enrolled in school
- Genuine interest in the Refrigeration & Air Conditioning industry
- Reliable and committed to learning
- Good communication skills
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Basic maths and problem-solving skills
- Students will meet the supervisor in Underwood for a lift.
