Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant opportunity with a respected local Hobart firm.

A well-established accounting and advisory firm is looking to expand its team with a Senior Accountant. Your new role
Reporting directly to the partners, you will manage your own portfolio of clients while delivering a broad range of accounting, taxation and advisory services. Your responsibilities will include preparing financial statements and income tax returns, managing BAS and related compliance obligations, providing business and taxation advice, and maintaining strong client relationships.
You will work closely with a diverse range of businesses across multiple industries, helping clients achieve their financial and commercial objectives. In addition, you will support and lead a small team while contributing to the continued success and growth of the practice.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience within a public practice accounting environment and be confident in managing client relationships. You will possess strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.You will hold CA or CPA qualifications, or be working towards completion, and demonstrate a genuine commitment to providing high-quality service and building long-term relationships with clients.
