Senior Analyst - Capital & Regulatory Reporting

A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join a high-performing finance function. This role offers exposure to regulatory reporting, capital management activities and business-critical reporting obligations within a complex and highly regulated environment. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will support both BAU reporting requirements and a range of regulatory change and process improvement initiatives.
Your new role
You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely regulatory and capital reporting while supporting governance, controls and ongoing reporting enhancements. Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare, review and analyse regulatory and capital reporting deliverables.
• Support external disclosure and regulatory reporting obligations.
• Perform reconciliations, validation activities and quality assurance reviews.
• Produce reporting, analysis and insights for senior stakeholders.
• Partner with Finance, Risk, Treasury and other key business units to ensure reporting accuracy and compliance.
• Contribute to reporting enhancements, automation initiatives and regulatory change programmes.
• Maintain robust governance and control frameworks across reporting processes.
• Manage competing priorities and reporting deadlines within a fast-paced environment.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience within banking, financial services or a prudentially regulated environment.
• Demonstrated experience in Capital Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, Treasury Finance, Financial Control or Financial Risk.
• Strong understanding of APRA prudential reporting requirements and Pillar 3 disclosures is essential.
• Exposure to Basel regulatory frameworks and capital adequacy reporting.
• Experience preparing reporting, analysis and commentary for senior leadership stakeholders.
• Strong governance, controls and assurance mindset with a focus on reporting accuracy and compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across Finance, Risk and Treasury functions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple reporting deliverables while balancing BAU responsibilities and project-based initiatives.
