Your new company
An opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate to join a highly regarded Construction & Infrastructure practice in Sydney.Working directly with a recognised industry-leading Partner, you will gain exposure to major infrastructure, transport, energy and technology projects, advising a sophisticated client base that includes contractors, infrastructure investors, multinational organisations and project delivery consortiums.
Your new role
This position offers a strong focus on front-end construction and infrastructure work, including:

  • Drafting and negotiating construction procurement documentation
  • Preparing and advising on building and construction contracts
  • Advising on project delivery structures and risk allocation
  • Supporting major infrastructure, energy and transport projects
  • Working closely with clients throughout procurement and project delivery phases
  • Building strong client relationships and taking increasing responsibility for matters

You will be joining a high-performing and collaborative team known for its technical excellence, commercial approach and strong mentorship culture.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will have:

  • 37+ years' PAE in construction law or a well-regarded litigation practice
  • Strong drafting and contract negotiation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A genuine interest in the construction and infrastructure sector
  • Strong commercial acumen and practical problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work autonomously while managing client expectations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to practice
