About the Role
As the Senior Bookkeeper, you will report to the Director and will manage a portfolio of clients whilst delivering bookkeeping, BAS and management reporting services in a fully remote environment. Offering genuine flexibility and autonomy, this role is flexible (25–38 hours per week) and structured around meeting deadlines rather than fixed start and finish times, making it ideal for someone seeking balance alongside other commitments.
Duties
- Manage end‑to‑end bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
- Prepare, review and lodge BAS and GST reporting
- Deliver management reports including P&L, balance sheet and cashflow
- Review bookkeeping work and support junior team members
- Support payroll processing and payroll compliance for clients
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Bookkeeper in public practice
- Strong BAS preparation and management reporting experience
- Confident using Xero and MYOB
- Solid understanding of GST and ATO compliance
- Payroll experience highly regarded, Employment Hero experience is a bonus
