Senior Business Analyst (Technical) | Superannuation & Investments | 6-month contract
 
About the opportunity

• Join a superannuation and investments business delivering a significant, deadline-driven migration program.
• Contract engagement, ~6 months, October start, running across the new year (genuine runway, not a pre-Christmas cliff).
• A technical BA seat: you will sit between architecture and delivery, not on the edges of it.
• Part of a squad of Senior BAs being brought in together to close a capability gap at pace.

The role

• Work directly with solution architects to shape and document functional designs.
• Translate complex super/investments requirements into build-ready stories and specs.
• Interrogate data yourself using SQL to validate, challenge and de-risk requirements.
• Support a product and system migration end to end, through to cutover and reconciliation.

What you'll bring

• Proven Senior BA experience on complex, technical delivery (not story-writing alone).
• Superannuation, pension or investments domain experience, enough to hit the ground running.
• Hands-on SQL and a genuine ability to work at a technical/data level with architects.
• A track record authoring functional designs on integrated systems.

Desirable: Databricks or BigQuery exposure, and prior data migration BA experience.
