Our client is a highly regarded commercial law firm with an established presence in the Sydney market. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial & Corporate Lawyer with 5+ years PQE to join its successful Corporate, Commercial & IP practice.
Working directly with two experienced Partners, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of matters and advise a diverse client base of Australian and international businesses, including private and public companies.
The role offers a broad mix of corporate and commercial transactional and advisory work, together with the opportunity to develop your experience in Intellectual Property.

- Business acquisitions and disposals
- Corporate transactions and advisory matters
- Commercial agreements
- Shareholder agreements
- Joint venture agreements
- Investments, loans and security arrangements
- Corporate restructures
- Due diligence
- Partnership agreements
- Sale and purchase of businesses
- Corporate and trust structuring
- Trademark prosecutions and filings
- IP portfolio management
- General commercial and corporate advisory work
You will work with clients across a range of industries, providing plenty of variety and the opportunity to develop strong client relationships.
About You
- 5+ years PQE in corporate and commercial law
- Strong technical commercial law experience
- Experience drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements
- Corporate transactional and advisory experience
- Strong drafting and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- The ability to manage matters and deadlines effectively
- An interest in Intellectual Property and a desire to develop further expertise in this area
