Senior Electical Engineer
- Design and deliver electrical systems for large scale projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical support.
Core Talent have partnered with a well-established Tier 1 electrical contractor delivering large scale design and construct projects across Sydney. Due to multiple project wins the business is experiencing strong growth and requires an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support the design and delivery of multiple electrical building services projects.
In this role, you will focus on the design, documentation and technical delivery of electrical systems from post-sales through to project completion for data centres, hospitals and metro stations. You will work closely with project managers, site teams and external stakeholders to ensure designs are compliant, efficient and value engineered as well as being delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for the successful delivery of the electrical design scope of work.
- Provide input into project estimates and project schedules.
- Offer value engineered solution to the estimating team, site construction teams, and their clients
- Provide Project support, on-site construction support and commissioning technical support.
- Mentor and lead Junior/Intermediate Engineers
The Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years experience as an Electrical Engineer
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and the National Construction Code relating to electrical services
- Worked within an electrical contractor or design consultancy
- Designed electrical systems for building services projects
- Advanced technical skills and ability in MS Office, AutoCAD, Power CAD, AGI32, REVIT, Revisto and Bluebeam.
