Senior Employment Consultant

APM are seeking an Employment Services Industry expert who is ready to take the next step towards their management career.

Our Workforce Australia team in INALA QLD, are looking for a Senior Employment Consultant to join us. This is an opportunity where you can apply your Employment Services Industry knowledge and experience to support your Business Manager and fellow Employment Consultants. Your work will help enable better lives as you support your team to assist people with a disability with find long term employment.

The role

You'll be empowering and motivating the team to drive the very best outcomes for their clients. Your teams' success is what drives you, so sharing your knowledge through mentoring and coaching will be important, supporting them to hit their KPIs. You'll also lead by example, engaging with your own clients to provide tailored employment services.

What we are looking for in a leader

You are driven to exceed personal and professional goals and take pride in helping others do the same. Strong communication and negotiation skills are some of your assets, along with the ability to identify a person’s strengths to create solutions that are ‘outside the square’. You’ll know that resilience is important in this line of work, and you have it in spades along with your impressive ability when it comes to time management. Finally, you should have some experience supporting, leading, or managing others

What we need from you 

• Ability to coach, motivate and provide guidance
• Ability to establish strong relationships
• A creative problem solver who can tackle complex issues as they arise
• Must be eligible to work in Australia
• Have a current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
• Be willing to complete a Criminal History Check, secure a Blue card and MyID (standard)
