Senior Estimator needed to lead tenders and cost planning for a Tier 1 Tasmanian builder.
Your new company
Our client is a highly regarded national, Tier 1, commercial builder with a long-standing reputation for delivering complex and iconic projects across Tasmania. With a strong pipeline of work and a collaborative culture, they are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead estimating functions and contribute to continued growth within the state business.
Your new role
Reporting to the State Manager, you will be responsible for leading the estimating and cost planning function, ensuring the successful delivery of competitive tenders and supporting the achievement of business growth objectives.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you will be able to demonstrate proven experience as a Senior Estimator within the commercial construction industry and a strong background pricing large-scale building projects across multiple sectors.
Your experience will also include:
Success in leading complex tenders and winning profitable work. Excellent commercial acumen and risk management skills. Strong leadership capabilities with experience mentoring and developing team members. Exceptional communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related disciplineWhat you'll get in return
