Senior Fund Accountant - Property
- Responsible for preparation of accurate financial, taxation and management reporting.
- Manage fund accounting and prepare quarterly financial reporting packs.
- Ensure compliance with debt and prepare annual statutory reporting.

The Role
Reporting into the Financial Controller, this is a critical finance role, responsible for the preparation of accurate and insightful financial, taxation and management reporting for the business. This includes:
-fund accounting
- Monthly management accounting for funds.
- Prepare quarterly financial reporting pack/NAV.
- Prepare BAS.
- Annual statutory reporting and audit.
- Annual tax distribution calculations and income tax returns.
- Annual Fund Budget – preparation of fund expense budget for approval by Board.
- Debt compliance (LVR calculations etc).
- Monthly NPI and capex dashboard for internal mgmt purposes (by asset).
- Business Activity Statements (GST) – consolidated group.
-new fund establishment and on-boarding
The Person
- CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent).
- Experience in funds management, property, asset management, external audit or a related finance environment.
- Strong technical accounting, financial reporting and analytical skills, with a proactive and commercially minded approach.
- Exposure to fund accounting, real estate investments, debt compliance, treasury or transaction-related activities would be highly regarded.
- Experience with accounting systems and reporting tools (e.g. Xero and Sage Intacct) would be highly regarded.
