About our client

Our client is a large Australian healthcare organisation. This for purpose organisation has a significant portfolio of facilities across primary and aged care and has been supporting Australian communities for more than 100 years.

About the role

Reporting to the General Counsel, you will be part of a team of lawyers supporting the operations of this large and growing organisation. This is a broad, commercial legal role and your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of strategic and operational tasks.

Your key responsibilities will include negotiating, drafting, and reviewing a variety of operational contracts, tenders, and other legal documents. You will also assist with acquisitions, strategic projects, property transactions and regulatory matters.

About you

You will be an experienced lawyer with 5-10 years’ PQE.  You will have a background in corporate and commercial law, particularly negotiating and drafting a variety of contracts. You will possess strong technical legal and drafting skills and commercial experience, along with excellent stakeholder management and people skills.

Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred. You will be a values driven individual, with strong personal and professional ethics and a desire to join an organisation with mission and purpose.
