Our client is a leading global pharmaceutical company with a portfolio of well-known products.

About the role

In this varied Senior Legal Counsel role, you will be involved in a range of commercial matters that impact the company’s operations in the Oceania region. You will be part of a dynamic team and will work closely with a variety of stakeholders including senior management. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Negotiating, drafting, and reviewing a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Advising the business on a variety of legal issues including general commercial law, consumer law/marketing issues, IP, HR, and disputes.
• Advising and assisting on corporate law, regulatory issues, and compliance.

About you

You will be a commercial lawyer with approximately 8 years’ PQE and strong contract law experience. Excellent technical legal skills and experience advising on both commercial and regulatory compliance matters is sought.

Exposure to the pharmaceutical industry will be favourably considered.

You will be a strong team player who is able to proactively engage in cross functional teams to deliver practical solutions and achieve desired outcomes.

You will have an enthusiastic, pro-active, and commercial approach and, have a willingness to learn and take on new professional challenges.
