A well-establishedcopper-gold mining operation in North Queensland is seeking a Senior MineGeologist to join their team. Operating a large-scale underground miningproject with significant regional opportunities, the company is focused onidentifying and advancing new copper-gold discoveries across a highlyprospective mineral province.
Your new role
The Senior MineGeologist is responsible for leading and coordinating underground mine geologyactivities to support safe, efficient and profitable mining operations. Therole provides technical direction for ore control, geological modelling, gradecontrol and reconciliation while ensuring geological data integrity andalignment with operational and strategic mine plans.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelors degree in Geology, Earth Sciences or related discipline. Demonstrated experience in underground hard rock mining operations Strong ore control and underground production geology experience. Experience with geological modelling and mine geology software packages. Sound understanding of grade control, reconciliation and QA/QC practices. Ability to interpret complex geological structures and mineralised systems. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Current Australian drivers licence. Ability to work effectively in remote mining environments and roster-based operations.What you'll get in return
