Senior Project Manager

Core Talent is proud to be partnering with a highly respected WA-owned Project Management Consultancy with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex commercial construction projects across Western Australia.

With a strong portfolio spanning commercial, education, retail, health, mixed-use and high-rise developments, our client is known for delivering exceptional outcomes through collaboration, technical expertise and long-term client relationships. Due to continued growth and the award of several major projects, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their expanding Perth team.

About the Role This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of major commercial construction projects from inception through to completion.

Working closely with clients, consultants and contractors, you will take ownership of multiple projects while providing leadership and mentoring to junior members of the team. You'll play a key role in driving project performance, managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex commercial construction projects from feasibility through to completion.
• Manage project scope, programme, budgets, procurement and risk.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.
• Oversee project governance, reporting and contract administration.
• Identify and manage project risks while driving successful commercial outcomes.
• Mentor and support Project Managers and junior team members.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with client expectations.

Skills & Experience

• 8+ years' experience in project management, ideally within a client-side consultancy environment.
• Proven track record delivering medium to large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of project planning, procurement, contracts and project controls.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop teams.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
