The Opportunity
Brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Mechanic or Qualified Tradesman to join our ever-growing team based in St James. In this role you will be mechanically minded and will possess a variety of skills including exceptional industry knowledge. You will be responsible for repairing and servicing vans and ensuring vans are ready for handover to customers or events.
Key Accountabilities
Duties are wide varied and not limited to:
Caravan repairs and servicing including:
- Install 12v systems, wheel bearing servicing, brakes and suspension replacement, roof replacement work internal and external, sheet metal work, pully system repairs and replacement, Install air conditioners and hot water systems
- Maintenance and servicing of caravans
- Install roll out awnings and all accessories
- Remove and refit new parts or repaired parts
- Basic electrical and plumbing work
- Fault finding
- Sealing work
The ideal candidate will have
• Australian working rights
• Safety conscientious, ALWAYS
• Mechanical skills desirable
• Experience in the RV industry is highly desirable.
• Current Driver License
• Possess an eye for detail, & have clear commitment to working to a high standard of finish
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised
• A can-do attitude and interest in problem solving
• Strong communication skills with a professional approach
