  • Hands-on involvement in developing novel compounds.
  • Lead assay development and optimisation supporting hit identification.

Join a cutting-edge radiopharmaceutical research team and make an impact on early-stage drug discovery. This role offers hands-on involvement in developing novel compounds, with a focus on pharmacology assay development, high-throughput screening, and PK/stability profiling.

What this role offers:

  • Opportunity to lead assay development and optimisation supporting hit identification and candidate progression.
  • Exposure to advanced automation platforms, liquid handling, and robotics for scalable screening workflows.
  • Direct contribution to early PK, stability, and bioanalytical assessments with real project impact.
  • Autonomy within a collaborative, fast-paced environment with access to senior scientists and project milestones.
  • A role centred on tangible outcomes that influence drug development pathways.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop, optimise and implement in vitro pharmacology assays to assess target interactions and functional activity.
  • Design and execute high-throughput screening workflows alongside automation teams.
  • Perform early PK and stability studies, including data interpretation to support candidate selection.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, reagents, and biological systems aligned with quality and safety standards.
