The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Site Manager to join our team for current and upcoming projects in Queensland. You will be essential in ensuring the safe, high-quality, and timely delivery of complex, large-scale projects—or multiple projects—for Buildcorp.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee site safety management, ensuring the safety of workers and completing necessary safety administration while promoting a proactive safety culture.
- Conduct safety inductions and ensure all subcontractors and site workers meet HS&E and quality standards before commencing work.
- Develop and manage site programs, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality benchmarks.
- Ensure the site compound and amenities are well-maintained for optimal working conditions.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors and labour, ensuring compliance with the project plan, specifications, and safety standards.
To Succeed in This Role, You Will Have:
- A thorough understanding of building site legislation, regulations, and standards (including Codes of Practise, HS&E, local government).
- Strong knowledge of project planning, materials handling, and programming.
- Experience managing subcontractors and overseeing a range of building trades.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience with Procore, and Asta Powerproject is a plus but not required.
Ideal Candidate:
- A trade qualification or a relevant building-related qualification.
- 10+ years of experience managing large construction projects, including site supervision, planning, programming, and managing subcontractors and labour.
- Site Supervisor QBCC License.
- First Aid Certification.
- Construction Safety Induction (white card).
