AustCorp Executive is currently partnering with a highly respected and rapidly growing residential steel framing business based in Brisbane’s southern suburbs.
With a strong reputation for quality, innovation and investing in its people, this business has built an experienced technical team and is now looking to add another Senior Steel Frame Detailer.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their technical capability, gain exposure to more complex residential projects and build a genuine long-term career within the steel framing industry.

The Opportunity Working alongside experienced senior detailers and technical leaders, you will be involved in the detailing of:
- Highset homes
- Split-level homes
- Pole homes
- Large custom residential projects
- Complex roof systems
- Steel floor systems and wall framing
You’ll work closely with builders, engineers, manufacturing teams and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are detailed accurately, efficiently and ready for manufacture and installation.
Depending on your experience and career aspirations, there is also scope to progress into:
- Technical checking and quality roles
- Team leadership and mentoring
- Site support and customer-facing technical positions
- Management opportunities as the business continues to grow
What We’re Looking For
We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience in:
- Residential steel frame detailing
- Highset or complex residential projects
- Steel wall frames, floor systems and roof trusses
- Architectural and engineering drawing interpretation
- Queensland residential construction practices
Experience using any of the following would be highly advantageous:
- Vertex BD
- FrameCAD
- Scottsdale
- Similar steel framing or detailing software
Candidates from steel framing manufacturers, frame and truss businesses, light gauge steel framing and residential construction backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
