Your new company
You'll join a large Federal Government department undertaking a range of infrastructure and security modernisation initiatives. Working within a complex enterprise environment, you'll play a key role supporting critical network services while contributing to major transformation programs focused on cloud, security and modern access technologies.
Your new role
As a Senior Technical Network Engineer, you'll provide specialist expertise across enterprise networking environments, supporting the design, implementation and ongoing operation of network infrastructure and services.
You'll work across LAN/WAN, routing and switching, wireless, network security, secure remote access, cloud connectivity and network segmentation, while leading the resolution of complex technical issues and contributing to infrastructure uplift projects. The role also involves working closely with managed service providers, supporting technology refresh activities and helping improve the resilience, performance and security of enterprise network services.
What you'll need to succeed
You will demonstrate experience across:
- Enterprise network engineering and support
- LAN/WAN, routing and switching technologies
- Network security and secure connectivity solutions
- Wireless and remote access technologies
- Cloud networking, ideally within Azure environments
- Network troubleshooting and incident management
- Infrastructure modernisation and transformation programs
- Technical documentation and network design
- NV1 clearance
