Service Supervisor – Shutdowns | Permanent Role | High Earning Potential Lead from the front with one of WA’s leading mining contractors. Are you a hands on leader who thrives on shutdown environments and leading crews on site? This is a permanent role working across major WA mining shutdowns with a well established contractor known for delivering results safely and efficiently. This position suits a Service / Shutdown Supervisor who enjoys being on the tools when required, leading teams from the front, and backing that up with strong planning and communication off site. The Role As a Service Supervisor, you will lead and supervise site crews during shutdowns, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. Between shutdowns, you’ll be office based supporting planning, coordination, and team leadership. This is a long term, permanent opportunity, not a short term shutdown contract. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise site teams during shutdowns, supported by leading hands Provide clear direction, guidance, and hands?on leadership Drive a positive, high performance team culture Maintain strong communication with clients and internal stakeholders Support planning, coordination, and workforce management when office based What We’re Looking For Section 26 – Statutory Appointment 2–3 years’ experience in a supervisory or leadership role within shutdown or mining environments Strong written and verbal communication skills A proactive leader who develops and supports their team Ability to lead by example in fast paced site environments Current unrestricted driver’s licence What’s On Offer Permanent full time role with consistent shutdown work Base salary approx. $110,000 (even if shutdowns are not worked) Time & a half and double time penalties included, with total earnings up to $250,000+ per year depending on shutdown participation Work with a leading WA mining contractor across major sites Long term stability, career progression, and influence over team culture If you’re ready to step into a permanent leadership role where your shutdown experience, attitude, and ability to lead truly matter, we’d love to hear from you.
