We have a new opportunity for a qualified Service Technician who specialises in small engine machinery to join the team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, branch-based role servicing and repairing the equipment relied on by Oakbank’s lifestyle farmers and property owners. Based in the workshop, you’ll diagnose faults, complete repairs and maintenance, and help customers keep their machinery performing at its best.
You’ll work across a varied range of equipment, including lawnmowers, chainsaws, small engines and potentially motorbikes. If you enjoy practical problem-solving, quality workmanship and providing great customer service, this could be the role for you.
- Diagnose, service and repair small engine machinery and equipment
- Complete scheduled maintenance and workshop repairs to a high standard
- Accurately record work completed, parts used and required follow-up
- Provide practical advice and quality service to customers
- Work safely and contribute to a supportive, team-focused workshop
What You’ll Need
- Relevant trade qualification in Small Engine Mechanics - Certificate III in Outdoor Power Equipment Technology or a closely related field
- Hands-on experience servicing and repairing lawnmowers, chainsaws and other small engine equipment
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting and mechanical skills
- Commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship
- Clear communication and a customer-focused approach
- Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
