Your Role

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistants to join the team at Vinnies in Chatswood to work on a casual basis. You will support the team in providing excellent customer service, identifying high quality donations and pricing items according to their value.  Capture customers' interest and drive sales with your ability to create atractive in-store displays and encourage customers to make a purchase.  Join a team that has passion for building a positive store environment and working collaboratively to achieve sales targets.

Your Responsibility

  • Providing outstanding customer service to every customer.
  • Sorting, pricing and preparing donated stock for the sales floor.
  • Creating attractive floor, rack and window displays.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, safe and well-presented store.
  • Operating the register and handling sales transactions accurately.
  • Working collaboratively across different areas of store operations to achieve shared goals.
  • Supporting a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for customers, volunteers and team members.

You Will Need

  • Experience in retail or customer service, with a strong customer-first mindset
  • Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills
  • Confidence working with stock, displays and financial targets
  • Flexibility to work weekends and extended trading hours
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to support team and volunteer success
  • Alignment with our values, mission and community impact focus
