Site Manager

We’re working with a growing construction business that is looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a full-time basis in Melbourne. The successful candidate will take the lead on education and government projects as the business continues to grow and secure new project wins.
This is a great opportunity for a Site Manager who is confident running projects from site commencement through to completion and is looking to join a business where they can take ownership, contribute to the team and grow with the company.
The Role
- Managing day-to-day site operations and project delivery
- Coordinating subcontractors, trades and suppliers
- Managing site safety, quality and compliance
- Monitoring project programmes and ensuring key milestones are met
- Working closely with Project Managers, subcontractors and consultants
- Conducting site meetings and coordinating site activities
- Identifying and resolving issues as they arise
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and site presentation
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Using Procore to manage project documentation, communication and site processes
About You
- Previous experience managing commercial construction projects to the value of $10 million
- Experience working on education and/or government projects is highly desirable
- Strong experience using Procore
- Strong knowledge of site operations, construction processes and safety requirements
- Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and trades
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Relevant Australian construction experience
