Hays has partnered with a growing Brisbane-based builder delivering a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial projects across South East Queensland. With experience across townhouses, project homes, custom homes and commercial fit-out projects, they have built a reputation for delivering quality outcomes through a hands-on and collaborative approach. Due to a strong pipeline of residential work, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join the team.
Your new role
As Site Manager, you will take ownership of a single residential project located on the Southside of Brisbane. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for the daily coordination of trades, subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard of quality. This role offers the opportunity to focus on one project rather than managing multiple sites, allowing you to drive outcomes and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders throughout the build.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Site Manager, Site Supervisor or Foreman position
- Demonstrated experience delivering townhouse developments and/or project homes
- Strong understanding of residential construction methodologies
- Proven ability to manage site programmes, trades and subcontractors
- Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and site compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and project delivery
