Snr Internal Auditor

Are you an experienced auditor who enjoys challenging the status quo, building relationships, and making a real impact? We're looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to join our growing Internal Audit team within a dynamic, medium-sized Financial Services Group. This position is Brisbane based, however Gold or Sunshine Coast based candidates welcome to apply.

What You'll Be Doing
Deliver end-to-end internal audits from planning through to reporting.
Assess the effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal controls.
Identify opportunities to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
Build strong relationships with business stakeholders across multiple functions.
Prepare clear, concise and commercially focused audit reports.
Follow up agreed actions and monitor remediation progress.
Contribute to the annual audit planning process and continuous improvement initiatives.
Use data analytics and technology to enhance audit testing and deliver deeper business insights.
About You
3–6+ years' experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk or Assurance.
Experience within financial services, banking, wealth, insurance or lending environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
A desire to continuously learn and embrace new technology.
Professional qualifications part or completed, such as CA, CPA, CIA or CISA will be highly regarded.
