Your new company
My client is a large and highly respected organisation responsible for managing significant property, facilities and infrastructure assets. With a substantial asset replacement program underway, they are investing heavily across building maintenance, facilities management and hard infrastructure procurement.
Working within a supportive procurement function, you'll sit at the intersection of maintenance, infrastructure and property, partnering closely with stakeholders to deliver critical sourcing outcomes across a broad portfolio. The role focuses on strategic sourcing across building maintenance categories, including mechanical, electrical, roofing, faade and broader asset replacement activities.

Your new role
As Sourcing Specialist, you will lead end-to-end sourcing activities across building maintenance, facilities and infrastructure-related spend categories. You'll support sourcing projects, manage supplier engagement, influence stakeholders and deliver value through structured procurement processes and sourcing events. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams while owning your portfolio and escalating where required.
Operating within a highly regulated and governance-driven environment, you'll partner with a diverse stakeholder group to support maintenance, capital works and asset replacement initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

• SAP Ariba experience is essential, ideally Ariba Guided Sourcing.
• Experience procuring within infrastructure, construction, property, facilities management, maintenance or capital works environments.
• Background working within Government, Higher Education or another large, complex organisation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and manage competing priorities.
• Comfortable operating within policy-driven, process-heavy procurement environments.
• Capable of working autonomously whilst collaborating effectively within a supportive team structure.
