Specialist Consultant - General Practice (GP) - 2200 per day
- Locum cover required for specific dates in November and December 2026 and January 2027.
- Position requires SMO with FACRRM/FRACGP and ED experience.
- Current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner is mandatory.
Locum cover is required for:
- 14 - 15 November 2026
- 1 - 2 December 2026
- 24 December 2026 - 1 January 2027
Position Details:
- Shift times: 0800 - 1630 + on call until 0800
- SMO with FACRRM/FRACGP and ED experience
Please note that all rates are inclusive of superannuation, taxes, and casual loading, where applicable.

Location Information
The health service is around a 45-minute drive (37 km) south from Cairns, which is also where the nearest airport is located.
This is a small aboriginal community with a population of just over 3000 people.
