Your New Role
The State Manger - Queensland will hold full P&L accountability for the Queensland region. As the senior leader you will drive customer satisfaction and retention, develop new business opportunities, and expand market share. The role includes leading organic growth initiatives as well as scaling new business segments acquired through M&A, with responsibility for sponsoring or leading post‑merger integration. You will also define and execute a five‑year regional strategy aligned with Group objectives, championing multi‑channel sales models, and digital initiatives. This position requires a leader who is structured and hands‑on, capable of strengthening internal controls, decision‑making processes, and accountability while building high‑performing, engaged teams across geographically dispersed operations.
What You Need to Succeed
To succeed in this role, you will be a highly experienced senior sales manager with a strong entrepreneurial and commercial mindset, strategic vision, and proven leadership capability in industrial maintenance service & aftermarket environments. You will bring demonstrated experience with full P&L accountability across geographically dispersed operations. You will also possess the credibility to engage effectively with customers at all levels, from operations through to executive leadership, and the capability to lead transformation and change in a competitive, high‑expectation environment. You will also possess the ability to engage with staff at levels across multiple sites ensuring that you have “buy in” from everyone.
