Stock Control & Yard Team Member

This isn’t just another stock control or yard/logistics position, it’s a chance to be a part of making things happen, where teamwork drives results, and where your hard work shows at the end of every shift.

We currently have an opportunity available at our Home Improvement Store in Kalgoorlie. This position involves working in our yard and being responsible for stock control, while also working as part of our retail team and assisting customers. Bringing a level of diversity to your day-to-day, you will liaise with our retail and trade customer base, using your customer service skills with a diverse range of customers!

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity, with rotating Saturdays as part of a shift roster.

Duties include:

• Load customer vehicles safely using forklift.
• Move stock and finished goods around the yard and surrounding environment safely.
• Maintain stock records and stock movements.
• Picking, packing and preparing stock ready for pick-up.
• Unload supplier vehicles and receive stock.
• Greet and serve customers, ensuring that orders are ready for collection.
• Liaise with other internal and external stakeholders to efficiently and effectively resolve any concerns raised by the customer.
• General housekeeping duties to ensure a tidy work environment.
• Strict adherence to critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environment.

Becoming part of the Stratco retail and yard family, we are looking for a person with:  

• Current Forklift licence 
• Forklift experience including loading, unloading and maneuvering in various environments while following strict safety protocols.
• Previous experience within retail/customer service highly desirable.
• Highly organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Customer-centric approach, with a willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy and pace.
