Stock Controller
- Deliver stock and supplies to hospital wards and departments.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders and maintain a clean work area.
- Provide professional service while adhering to health and safety procedures.
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Ward Delivery Assistant to join a busy healthcare environment. This is a hands-on role where you will play an important part in ensuring hospital wards and departments receive essential stock and supplies efficiently and accurately.
The Role
Your duties will include:
- Delivering stock and supplies to wards and departments
- Picking and distributing orders accurately
- Loading, unloading and moving stock using trolleys
- Completing regular manual handling duties
- Ensuring deliveries are completed on time and to the correct location
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Providing friendly and professional service to hospital staff
- Following workplace health and safety and manual handling procedures
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in warehousing, stores, delivery or hospital services is highly regarded
- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual handling
- Comfortable walking and being on your feet for the majority of the shift
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional and respectful when working within a healthcare environment
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
